Anyone can skipper a boat

> Tour Mag.com (29 April 2013)

Well, almost! To take the helm of a boat with no need for a licence, you need to be 16 or over and, in most cases, take around one hour’s training. Generally, a skipper will be appointed from among the group’s members. He or she will be responsible for sailing and may opt to hand over the tiller to another passenger.
